At Constellation Healthcare, our support doesn’t stop at evaluation. Our Therapeutic support plays a vital role in helping children with additional needs by bridging developmental delays, boosting academic and life skills, and reducing frustration through improved communication and regulated behaviour.

Delivered by our expert multidisciplinary team, our therapies support with building the foundation for a successful, happy, and independent life by building confidence, resilience, and essential life skills in early childhood and to support into the future.

Psychology

Our psychologists use a neuroaffirmative and child-centred approach to support a wide range of developmental, emotional and behavioural needs. Therapy is delivered in ways that make sense for your child — either through individual or group sessions or working with parents, guardians or educators.

All interventions are designed to promote wellbeing, strengthen relationships and build confidence — helping each child reach their full potential.

We support children and families with:

  • Anxiety and low mood
  • ADHD and behavioural differences
  • Autism post-diagnostic supports
  • Emotional regulation and resilience
  • Parent and family therapy
  • Social communication skills

Speech & Language Therapy

Our speech and language therapists (SLTs) support children develop functional communication that supports learning, social connection and everyday participation.

Therapy is guided by evidence based and RCSLT guidelines and delivered in partnership with families.

We offer support with:

  • Speech sound disorders (e.g. articulation and phonology)
  • Language delays and developmental language disorder (DLD)
  • Stammering, cluttering and other fluency issues
  • Voice quality (e.g. hoarseness, pitch or volume)
  • Social communication differences (perspective taking, social cues and problem solving)
  • Feeding and swallowing difficulties
  • Alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), including high and low tech, gesture and Lámh

Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists support children to participate fully in life — from play and learning to self-care and relationships. Interventions are personalised, practical, and grounded in what matters most to your child and family.

Therapy may be delivered individually, in groups or through parent coaching — always with clear goals and regular progress reviews.

We support development in areas including:

  • Sensory processing and regulation
  • Fine and gross motor skills (e.g. handwriting, posture, coordination)
  • Self-care and independence (e.g. dressing, feeding, toileting)
  • Emotional regulation and focus
  • Visual perceptual skills
